Sea Salt is well known for going greenish in one room (which its foundation suggests it SHOULD) but then in another room it goes blue/gray! The mint green is no more it is now a very light aqua in living room hallway and master bedroom. If you want a pop of color, but are afraid to commit to something that is truly a color, Sea Salt is a good bet. Sea salt looks like my favourite. Am I about to make a huge error? How it usually looks however, is different! Woodlawn looks like a much better match for your tile, just a tad more blue without being too blue. Oh my goodness! I too find immense JOY in colors and like you can, and have, spent hours pouring over the decisions. With less natural light the gray might come up a bit more than not, but its still got that gorgeous green/blue to hold it up. Im considering painting a couple of the walls in my living room what I would call a peacock sort of blue so this post is timely for me. Notice in the above photos how the color can rise or fall back depending on the light its getting. I hope you are living for these comparisons, because I feel like my life is spent making them! It has a high front wall with lots of windows. The color has a chameleon quality that shifts with the light but its always subtle. I absolutely love this blue gray green as it is fresh and bright but soft and changes depth of tint in different light levels. I bet the color looks very different in a room with light vs. room with no light. Ahhhh! http://media.benjaminmoore.com/WebServices/prod/bm_stain/pdf/ArborcoatColorCard_chip_spread.pdf, I hope that helps and you HAVE to let me know how it goes hopefully these colours will atleast get you a bit closer! Its about knowing what to EXPECT with Sea Salt, and once you understand what it might do, its easier to wrap your walls in it. I know its 2017 and not sure if youll get this but we had to redo walls after a flood in the basement. I am partial to Benjamin Moore paints, even though I have to drive 45 minutes to get Benjamin Moore versus 5 minutes to Sherwin Williams. And whereas the study has little natural light, the kitchen has plenty. At this point, I just want to know what the color is, since I have been studying these pictures for so long. And the ones I love, I chose solely based on the paint chip. Then, peel the sheet right off your wall and reapply it somewhere else if you like! Sparkling Sage has an LRV of 60.22 so it is a little darker than Sea Salt. This is a subtle color with its blue-green blend and soft gray backdrop. I want something more light bright & airy, something with a hint of color. For once it is exactly what you would expect: Sea Salt, but a little darker.
